Street Photography

Last month, I had the chance to join a group of photographers for the Scott Kelby's Second-Annual Worldwide Photowalk. As the name implies, it is an annual event where people from all over the world goes for a photowalk on the same time of the day, for two hours. The group I joined was a group I met online on flickr.com, the flickristasindios group. Our group went around the Binondo area, starting from the Binondo church. Here are some of the photos I took.

the way of life

During this photowalk, I tried avoiding those typical "street photography" shots - those shots of homeless people, street children, etc. Although these are the "popular" subjects when you talk about street photography here in the Philippines, I just thought we've shown enough already of those photos all over the world.

Callao Cave part II

Callao Cave, Cagayan Valley

I was able to visit the place again for the second time, and this time with my DSLR. I had in my previous post last year some photos of this place taken with a point and shoot camera. I'm not sure of any difference though, lol. But this time, I was able to take a shot of the chapel itself. This one is a long exposure shot (2 seconds, I think) and I had no tripod so I had to use a stalagmite hehe, cool huh.

Indulgence

Mild Indulgence

When your job and responsibilities are getting more and more serious, when you are forced to grow up when you're not even ready, when you realize at the end of the day that you will be spending a big part of your life just to earn money (absurd..), you can't help but yearn for a simpler life, right? Right.
